Philippines Heroism

Are you a hero? What does it mean to be a hero? Do you need superpowers like superman? Not really, no. National hero Andres Bonifacio, the leader of the KKK, which fought for the Philippines freedom against spaniards is a great example of this. One hero stands out, Jose Rizal. But if he did not fight, how did he help?

Perceptions of heroes are usually about fighting evil and saving people. This is a perfect description of Andres Bonifacio, so why Jose rizal? He did not fight with swords, guns nor any other weaponry. Instead he used his capabilities as a writer to help the Philippines.

Using his pen and paper as his sword and shield, he awoke the Filipinos to their situation. In which they were taken advantage of by the spaniards. Seeing this Jose Rizal made his novels and sparked a fire in the Filipinos.

Through his extensive life, he managed to open the eyes of Filipinos without shedding any blood. While we fantasize of becoming the hero and slaying evil, we should more learn from Jose Rizals methods as less life is lost.

Quarter 2's Reflection

As another quarter passes, so does time. Who we were in the past is wildly different form who we are now. As students its our job to retain the knowledge we have learned and to honor our teachers efforts to guide us into our future.                                     https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_editors.asp     Our quota for quarter 2 was html. Our activities consisted of exploring the different types of html tags and their purposes. We worked through the different troubles of coding and learned how to make an html file.                                      https://www.educba.com/uses-of-html/     While we might outgrow our teachings, leaving behind the once complex ru...

"Lighters, Making Fires That Guide": Teachers Day Celebration

From a young age we could be described as a candle. Our parents will be the first to light us, symbolizing them showing us the world. From then on they take care of us and the light that burns bright within us. But after a certain age, the lighting of our wick(our brain) is a job that then gets passed on to our teachers.      Teachers are the ones who teach us the remaining gaps in our knowledge. They take care of us while we are in their classroom. They have the utmost patience to teach us when we were young. They help us understand the world and most of all, they can act as our second parents.  It is difficult to be a teacher nowadays. As students, they have to understand our daily struggles. They also have to be caring towards us. We might expect them to have a good profession because  they not only are responsible for educating the future of our country, but they also helps the current generation as there are now special programs for adults, bu...
