"Lighters, Making Fires That Guide": Teachers Day Celebration

From a young age we could be described as a candle. Our parents will be the first to light us, symbolizing them showing us the world. From then on they take care of us and the light that burns bright within us. But after a certain age, the lighting of our wick(our brain) is a job that then gets passed on to our teachers.

Teachers are the ones who teach us the remaining gaps in our knowledge. They take care of us while we are in their classroom. They have the utmost patience to teach us when we were young. They help us understand the world and most of all, they can act as our second parents.

It is difficult to be a teacher nowadays. As students, they have to understand our daily struggles. They also have to be caring towards us. We might expect them to have a good profession because they not only are responsible for educating the future of our country, but they also helps the current generation as there are now special programs for adults, but no. Teachers often get disrespected and are also underpaid.

A month wherein we show our appreciation to the people who taught us for an entire year, and when they are also given a break. Teaching is a difficult profession. Whether it is teaching children, teenagers, or adults, it is a job that requires a lot of patience. This teachers day we must show our appreciation to them. Thank you teachers!
