Quarter 2's Reflection

As another quarter passes, so does time. Who we were in the past is wildly different form who we are now. As students its our job to retain the knowledge we have learned and to honor our teachers efforts to guide us into our future.

Our quota for quarter 2 was html. Our activities consisted of exploring the different types of html tags and their purposes. We worked through the different troubles of coding and learned how to make an html file.

While we might outgrow our teachings, leaving behind the once complex rules of html. We will never forget how to use it. Long after we forget our teachers, although we shouldn't, we will always remember how we learned, just like how you learn how to bike.

New year, New me

https://www.ontariosciencecentre.ca/science-at-home/diy-science-fun/the-science-of-fireworks    As a new year starts, as they say a new person is also born. This doesn't particularly imply childbirth, it more so means the rebirth of someone who wants to improve themselves. https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/holidays/g4069/new-years-quotes/      Last year I had a rude awakening to my situation. I am 15 years old, about to choose a strand that will choose my career and life in the future. I was shocked and completely frozen. With no idea with what I was doing nor did I know how to help myself. https://www.womansday.com/life/g30184967/new-years-quotes/      This year, 2024 I will find myself. I will figure out what I want to become and what I will do with my life. I have tons of expectations of myself, which eill not effect how I think of myself if I can't meet up to those expectations. https://www.countryliving.com/life/g4974/new-year-qu...

Philippines Heroism

Are you a hero? What does it mean to be a hero? Do you need superpowers like superman? Not really, no. National hero Andres Bonifacio, the leader of the KKK, which fought for the Philippines freedom against spaniards is a great example of this. One hero stands out, Jose Rizal. But if he did not fight, how did he help? https://www.britannica.com/biography/Jose-Rizal  Perceptions of heroes are usually about fighting evil and saving people. This is a perfect description of Andres Bonifacio, so why Jose rizal? He did not fight with swords, guns nor any other weaponry. Instead he used his capabilities as a writer to help the Philippines. https://www.istockphoto.com/photos/heroes Using his pen and paper as his sword and shield, he awoke the Filipinos to their situation. In which they were taken advantage of by the spaniards. Seeing this Jose Rizal made his novels and sparked a fire in the Filipinos. https://www.wsj.com/articles/with-great-power-the-rise-of-superhero-cinema-51ff3026 Throu...
