A letter to your legacy

    Dear President Marcos,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. Think of me as a voice from the future. From my understanding, your presidency and leadership continues to be a subject of discussion, and analysis.

Your 21 years of presidency was marked by significant achievements as well as controversies. Your administration saw the implementation of ambitious infrastructure projects, economic reforms, and policies aimed at nation-building. The creation of the Integrated Reorganization Plan and the establishment of the New Society are just a couple of examples that come to mind.

However, it is essential to acknowledge the complex nature of history. Your regime was also characterized by an authoritarian rule, allegations of human rights violations, and widespread corruption. These elements have left a profound and lasting impact on the collective memory of the Filipino people.

As the years have passed, perspectives on your presidency continue to evolve. Some argue that the progress made during your time in office laid the foundation for future economic growth, while others emphasize the need to remember and address the human rights violations that occurred.

It is crucial for us, as individuals engaged in this ongoing conversation about history, to approach these discussions with empathy, nuance, and a commitment to truth. By acknowledging both the achievements and the shortcomings, we can work towards a more comprehensive understanding of your legacy.

In writing this letter, I am expressing my satisfaction in the advancements you habe made for our country, while simultaneously showing dissatisfaction in the numerous human rights you have violated. I aim to encourage open mindedness in discussing your legacy. I hope to show consideration for your role in Philippine history

    Sincerely, Eusofh Santino Cariño

Quarter 2's Reflection

As another quarter passes, so does time. Who we were in the past is wildly different form who we are now. As students its our job to retain the knowledge we have learned and to honor our teachers efforts to guide us into our future.                                     https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_editors.asp     Our quota for quarter 2 was html. Our activities consisted of exploring the different types of html tags and their purposes. We worked through the different troubles of coding and learned how to make an html file.                                      https://www.educba.com/uses-of-html/     While we might outgrow our teachings, leaving behind the once complex ru...

"Lighters, Making Fires That Guide": Teachers Day Celebration

From a young age we could be described as a candle. Our parents will be the first to light us, symbolizing them showing us the world. From then on they take care of us and the light that burns bright within us. But after a certain age, the lighting of our wick(our brain) is a job that then gets passed on to our teachers.      Teachers are the ones who teach us the remaining gaps in our knowledge. They take care of us while we are in their classroom. They have the utmost patience to teach us when we were young. They help us understand the world and most of all, they can act as our second parents.  It is difficult to be a teacher nowadays. As students, they have to understand our daily struggles. They also have to be caring towards us. We might expect them to have a good profession because  they not only are responsible for educating the future of our country, but they also helps the current generation as there are now special programs for adults, bu...
